Controllers in Xbox games

ViGEmBus driver

Steam Input reaches Xbox games as a virtual Xbox controller. ViGEmBus is the free driver that makes one.

Only non-Xbox controllers need it, like the Steam Controller or a DualSense. Xbox controllers work without it.

The official installer from the ViGEmBus project, signed by Nefarius Software Solutions. Remove it any time in Windows' Installed apps.
